Access to Capital
Our access to capital programs leverage the multi-disciplinary perspective of Inclusive Action to address one of the roots causes of poverty in urban areas — access to capital. As a frontline service provider, this is our commitment to meeting the needs of underserved communities in Los Angeles, with access to healthy capital and support to improve overall well-being. For the team at Inclusive Action, capital in the form of financing, physical infrastructure and education are important resources to build wealth, invest in low-income communities, and build sustainable community-based economies.
We take great pride in being one of four small business CDFIs serving Los Angeles with a unique expertise in microbusiness. We’ve been a lender to BIPOC, immigrant and low-income small business owners for over seven years, and in this time, we’ve deployed nearly $5 million in low-interest loans and grants to Los Angeles street vendors, brick-and-mortar retail, food, art and service entrepreneurs.

Over the next three years, we will:
-
Increase annual lending of $1M by a minimum of 10-15%
-
Expand micro-equity investment to provide entrepreneurs patient capital to scale their businesses
-
Create new community ownership models that prevent small business displacement
-
Support other community-based organizations to create or strengthen their lending and business coaching programs.
We’re eager to innovate and be bold, and we believe that this is only possible through collaboration. If you’re interested in exploring a partnership, reach out to us at info@inclusiveaction.org!
