Reporting Our Impact

Inclusive Action addresses the root causes of poverty by merging good urban policy with sound access to capital initiatives that reduce barriers, increase opportunity, strengthen local economies, and empower low-income residents and entrepreneurs across Los Angeles.

Our programs and initiatives seek to uplift those who face the most obstacles to social and economic opportunity. Inclusive Action empowers communities by prototyping innovative, scalable solutions that seek systems change, generating models that can be replicated and applied to all types of urban environments.

Policy & Research

We engage in policy efforts that address root causes of inequity in four “Areas of Impact:” Access to Capital, Land-Use, Housing & Ownership, and Leadership Development.

Access to Capital

Our access to capital programming provides capital and business coaching to help low-income, BIPOC entrepreneurs build their businesses and their generational wealth.

$700,000

We deployed over $700,000 in capital to low-income food entrepreneurs and home based businesses, many of whom are street vendors.

$1,000,000

In 2020, we distributed over $1,000,000 in cash assistance and grant dollars to street vendors and small businesses impacted by COVID-19.

300

Over the last year, we’ve worked with over 300 organizations to advocate for low-income families and entrepreneurs impacted by the pandemic.
